Recently finished to a stunning scandinavian, beach inspired standard throughout. We had in mind people coming together for a relaxed and invigorating stay and so we designed it in a way of what type of place we would like to holiday at! This stylish seaside retreat provides everything you need for the perfect getaway for families, couples and laid back groups and occasions for that perfect tranquil spa getaway.
Visit Blackpool before returning to our enclosed spa, sauna, outdoor shower and decking area with hot tub or why not brave the Scandinavian bucket drop to truly take your breath away after being in the Sauna. Here at THE RETREAT we really believe in Hot/Cold therapy as inspired by the great Wim Hof (The Ice Man) so take a plunge in our cold water whiskey barrel for the ultimate soak for extra health benefits or even take a short stroll to the sea and go for a refreshing swim for numerous health benefits including, mind, body and soul! This property is centrally located for everything you need for a chilled out break, you may never want to leave!
Just yards from the sandy beach, breath in the sea air and let your worries drift away. Set in the coastal town of Thornton-Cleveleys, there are a multitude of shops, bars and restaurants to explore, as well as a cinema, gym, skate park and playing fields within walking distance should you ever wish to venture out. Blackpool is only 4 miles away along the coastline where there are endless activities for all to enjoy. Take a trip up the famous Blackpool Tower, visit the marine animals at Sea Life Blackpool or, for thrill-seekers, spend a day at The Pleasure Beach. With many delightful walks from the doorstep, why not explore the Forest of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District.
On entering this wonderful holiday home, you are greeted by a spacious entrance hall, perfect for leaving sandy flip flops after a day at the beach or coats and boots after a winter’s walk.
Moving through to the cinema room with a luxury bespoke starlight ceiling, you’re welcomed into a stunning peacful space for everyone to enjoy, with a double sofa bed for those cosy nights in to chill with a glass of wine and a film.
Next is your own ultimate bar area room complete with drinks chiller and fridge, ideal for keeping drinks chilled whilst relaxing outside, further along we have our cosy snug leading out to the terrace, To complete the ground floor is a WC with separate shower.
Moving up the stairs you’ll find the bright and spacious first-floor open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with banquette seating and large window to make the most of the stunning uninterrupted sea views. This is the hub of the house and the perfect space everyone to socialise, relax on the sofas or sit at the large dining tables on the comfy seating and take in the wonderful scenery.
The stylish kitchen is equipped with everything you could need including an electric double oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.
On the second floor, you will find three bedrooms: a large bedroom with x2 double twin beds with fantastic views over the coast below,
a small bunk bedroom with triple sleeper (small double and single bed)
and one double.
To complete the property is a bathroom with bath and overhead shower and WC.
Stepping outside you are transported to a beautiful oasis with Hot tub, 8 person sauna, Scandinavian cold bucket, whiskey barrel plunge bath , terrace area and furniture. Relax whilst making memories at this wonderful accommodation.
There is off-road parking for three cars.

Please make sure all guests are included in the booking regardless if they are staying over or not. We accept visitors on request, everybody needs to be added into the booking so we can register the amount of guests in total.
Please be Mindful this is a terraced house so music must be kept subtle in the evenings!
The hot tub and garden area is not permitted for use after 10pm. This is an enforced restriction from the council.
Please be aware with any music to keep it relatively low as it can be quite loud for the neighbours which leads to complaints. Should be used as background music only. We have to adhere to a no party/noise policy due to the home being a terraced townhouse in a residential area.
* For groups a Security deposit of £250 is required prior to arrival for incidentals payable via bank transfer to a holding account. We will contact you after booking with the payment information. This deposit is fully refundable after check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the property. The deposit is non-refundable if any house rules are broken *
Located in the center of Cleveleys, a traditional seaside town, nestled in between Blackpool, Fleetwood and the Irish Sea! Many amenities are nearby and in walking distance such as supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants to name a few. THE RETREAT is right on North Promenade and only a stones throw away from the beach. We are within walking distance of the famous Blackpool tramline which connects you easily with Blackpool and Fleetwood. We are in easy reach of Lytham-St-Annes, Poulton-Le-Fylde, Knott end and the UNESCO site of the Lake District. We are a great base for all the famous Blackpool Attractions such as Blackpool Tower, The Sandcastle, Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Illuminations, Blackpool Zoo, the award winning Stanley Park and all other Blackpool shows, events and exhibitions, not to mention the amazing Cleveleys Car Show, Blackpool Air Show, The World Fireworks Championships and the famous Fleetwood Tram Sunday. We love how central THE PAD is with everything you need within walking distance and on your doorstep but without compromising a serene, private relaxing experience with unobstructed beach views.
We are a short walk to the main bus shelter in Cleveleys and also the major tramline is just at the end of the road. Taxis are readily available in the area alongside local taxi ranks. We also provide free car parking for up to 3 cars onsite. The nearest Train Stations are Poulton-Le-Fylde and Blackpool North and the nearest airport is Manchester and Liverpool for major airlines.
